In June 2007, Realisations Consultancy presented for Curtin University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Student Services Office the one day program "Powerful Customer Communications at Work".
The morning session "Creating Delighted Customers" focussed on customers wants and turn offs, communication, practical strategies for creating best first impressions and role playing. The afternoon session "Managing Difficult Behaviour" covered practical strategies for dealing with difficult customers behaviours.
The format was particularly relevant and the use of several Student Services scenarios maximised the learning and demonstrated how these strategies could be applied at work.
The program was evaluated before and after the learning. All participants indicated that their knowledge and confidence had increased as a result of their participation in the program, especially in the areas of:-
