Step 3: Assign the Task
 | What is the task’s goal or outcome?

 | What actions, assistance or resources are required?
|
 | When is it due?
|
 | When and how will we follow up?
|
 | How will it affect my workload?
|
 | What obstacles do I foresee?
|
 | What authority do I have?
|
 | What are the benefits and consequences of doing the task?

Step 4: Execute to Task
 | Inform key employees of the delegatee’s task and level of
authority.
|
Step 5: Conduct Regular Feedback Sessions
 | Update each other on progress.
|
 | Use feedback sessions to catch problems early.
|
 | Coach the delegatee back on track, if necessary.
|
 | Praise and share credit for positive outcomes.
